The Light Thief

1. With map: the Light Thief hides at eight places nearby and creeps across the map. Walk there and catch him. No map or indoors: you get the challenges one after another, without places. Works anywhere.
2. Every time he dares you differently: a photo (a bench, a letterbox, the whole group as shadows; the phone checks whether it fits) or a game on the screen: catch him, find him with the torch, a puzzle, a lock.
3. If you succeed he flees, drops a light and shouts something. Sometimes he slips up: that is evidence and always true. Sometimes he claims something about himself: three times true, once a lie.
4. With eight lights your lantern is bright enough. Point out who he is and which claim was the lie. Then you enter his hideout to find the present. Your photos become an evidence strip and a diploma.

With an adult along. One phone per group; with the hunt code several phones play the same hunt. The photos stay on the phone. Outside: stay on the pavement, do not photograph strangers.
