The phone is the magic mirror. It goes round the circle. Seven ingredients for the Counter-Potion: shake, tilt, blow, find something red, clap along, a group photo and shout the spell. Who is in the mirror?
The phone is the magic mirror. It goes round the circle. For each ingredient the mirror says who gets to hold it; the others help.
Seven ingredients, each a task with the phone itself: shake, tilt, blow, find something red with the camera, clap along, a group photo and shout the spell.
Elf is easy: the mirror says exactly what to do and the riddles use pictures. Wizard is harder: word riddles, and Grimble gives one false hint.
Along the way you see traces of Grimble: his colour, his hat and his eyes. At the end you pick him out of three mirror spirits.
Then you all blow the enchantment away together, the birthday child gets the crown in a photo, and every child gets a diploma to share.
Mirror hunt: after each ingredient Mira asks for a photo of something real, indoors (something soft, a spoon, a cuddly toy…) or outdoors (a leaf, a cloud, something with wheels…), and sometimes for a group pose. All photos go into the mirror album, to save. Choose Short for no photos, Long for two per ingredient.
Tip for the grown-up: if the phone will not allow motion or listening, the mirror switches to tapping and swiping by itself. The menu (☰) has a cheat sheet and a skip button. Indoors, in the garden or on the back seat: no GPS, nothing to print.
